Who can attend?
Any school aged child with an interest in performing arts, may attend our camp.
When will camp take place?
The camp sessions will be two weeks long, with a structured performance for family and friends beginning at 4 pm, on the ending camp day. Session 1 will run July 2-July 13, 2018 (no camp on July 4). Session 2 will run July 16-July 27, 2018. Camp hours will be 9-3 with the opportunity for one hour before and after care at an extra charge.
Where is the camp located?
Camp will take place at Adath Israel Synagogue in Lawrenceville, NJ. The address is 1958 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville NJ 08648.
What will a typical session look like?
The camp is structured to produce a mini musical at the end of the 2 week session. The first few days are spent establishing the culture of the group through acting games, singing exploration and movement activities. Informal auditions are held during the first few days of the camp session and students are prepared by the directors (no at home preparation is necessary). Once the show is cast, the following days are spent continuing to work on collaborative acting, singing and movement games which promote focus, proper techniques for the stage and self confidence. Students will be cast in roles that suit their ability levels and showcase their growth throughout the camp sessions. A final performance is given on the last day of the camp session (Show 1: July 13, Show 2: July 27) at 4 pm. (The show is usually about an hour in length). All friends and family are welcome to attend this FREE performance.
Will you provide lunch?
We will not provide lunch and each camper will need to bring their own lunch. Due to the kosher guidelines, no meat or shellfish is permitted in the student lunch.
On the first friday of each session, we will provide the students with a special snack (included in your camp tuition) and on the last friday of each session, we will provide the students with a pizza lunch (included in your camp tuition). Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions in your registration.
What is the tuition for camp?
Registration fee: $25 per camper
Session 1: $400
Session 2: $425
Both Sessions: $800

Payment received by March 31, 2018 $400 per registrant for session 1, $425 for session 2, $800 for both sessions
Payment received between April 1-May 1, 2018 $425 per registrant for session 1, $450 for session 2, $825 for both sessions
Payment received after May 1, 2018: $475 per registrant, $850 for both sessions
Registration fee includes; Camper Insurance, t-shirt (to be worn at performance), pizza lunch on the last day of camp and free entry to the final show.

How many students will you accept for each session?
We would like to try to keep it to around 40 students per session to give more individual attention where needed. Please sign up soon!
